ACE LEDS Self-Diagnostic Emergency LED Drivers continuously monitor and test the operating condition of the AC power, battery supply voltage, emergency lamp continuity and charging circuit.

Each month the EMB performs a 30-second short-term test and a yearly 90-minute test to ensure the EMB is functioning properly. Testing can also be done manually by pressing the test switch or toggling the emergency circuit breaker.

Additionally, the emergency unit will automatically detect the charging status, battery and load condition, and it will show a failure code when an abnormal situation occurs.
