Self-Testing Emergency LED driver

ACE LEDS keeps bringing the power with Pure Sine Wave Emergency Lighting Inverters.

Our family of Pure Sine Wave Emergency Lighting Inverters offer a variety of power levels to meet a variety of needs. They are an ideal solution for a centralized, remote emergency lighting system, such as when operating a group of multiple luminaires, or operating an entire zone.  These inverters are also ideal for a more de-centralized system – where the inverter is located in close proximity to the emergency luminaire.
HOW IT EMPOWERS YOU
  • Emergency Lighting Inverters are the only possible solution for fully integrated LED fixtures that are sealed and do not provide access to the LED Array, including integrated LED fixtures, screw-in bulbs, recessed fixtures, and type B TLEDs.

  • The inverters (a) bypass the on/off switch to keep the fixture on in emergency-mode, and (b) automatically override any dimming controller so that each fixture is automatically operated at an appropriate illumination level when in emergency-mode.

  • Our Emergency Lighting Inverters include Automatic Dimming technology which uses the 0-10 Vdc dimming control input of each fixture to control the dimming level of each fixture and maintain the inverter at its full rated output power; furthermore, it automatically shares the inverter’s power equally among each luminaire in emergency-mode.

  • Compact size allows for the industry’s most versatile mounting, suitable for plenum space mounting near the luminaire or for remote mounting up to 300 feet away or more.

  • Capable of sourcing high crest factor loads, high load inrush currents, and high start-up power delivery.

  • The Pure Sine Wave output waveform provides improved reliability of connected loads, reduces heat, improves efficiency, and provides optimum compatibility across all lighting load types.

ACE LEDS' Advanced Power Activate Technology is specifically designed to make complex installations and routine maintenance hassle-free for Emergency LED drivers.

How it works:

Advanced Power Activate Technology eliminates the need for a battery connection. Thanks to a specialized chip and advanced software, Power Activate communicates with your Emergency LED driver whether the power is on or off. When power is activated, the Emergency LED driver automatically awakens, removing the problems of depleted batteries or faulty connections, and maintaining a steady source of power.

Because most failures are due to dead batteries or unplugged connectors, this value innovation stops 99% of Emergency LED driver service calls and product returns. Moreover, since no battery access is required, contractors don’t have to open the luminaire to reach the battery, making for easier maintenance and minimized errors.

This kind of technology is normally found in high-cost self-testing Emergency LED drivers, but we are bringing it to our standard Emergency Drivers for a fraction of the cost. We've empowered our full line of Rail Linear Emergency LED drivers with Power Activate and soon it will be available in all our Emergency LED drivers.

Cold Start

Cold Start Constant Power Emergency LED Drivers — The Power You Need to Beat Back the Cold.

The “Cold Start” function allows for -20°C starting temperatures, making it the best choice for outdoor and extreme cold environments.

In very cold environments, it’s not uncommon for operating LEDs to require an initial surge of voltage to turn on. Once the lights are on, cold temperatures no longer threaten the LEDs, as they are warmed up by the current flowing through them as they operate. However, many LEDs cannot tolerate the initial surge.

ACE LEDS’ Cold Start Constant Power Emergency LED Drivers utilize Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries as well as a heating element to achieve and maintain optimal low-temperature operation. Think of them working like an electric blanket, where the heating element surrounds the battery and keeps it warm and ready to start when the power goes off.

Emergency Lighting Dimming Control Relay — Versatility and reliability when you need the power back and you need it now.

During a power failure, the Dimming Control Relay overrides the dimming function on the LED driver which forces it to Full Light Output levels.

Our Automatic Load Control Relay is an emergency lighting control device which allows designated luminaires to be powered in emergency-mode by an emergency source of power, such as a remote generator or inverter, upon the loss of normal power.
